Look at the preliminary task, how have you improved?
Our preliminary task was called 'The Killing' our final horror was called 'ALICE', we had a complete change of mind when it came to planning our horror OTS, we swapped from modern day reality to a story tale horror with a twist. This was a best fit for our group as we had no clue what we wanted to do. This ended up to be a lot better than what we had previously planned with a modern day killing, we risked what was rated the not best selling horror and we did succeed in making a good OTS.

There was a big difference between these two pieces of work, one is set in modern day reality which turns into the stereotypical horror, what we ended up with was a complete development of fairy tale horror. The fairy tale horror consisted of many different shots which we had previously failed at doing and many camera angles and special effects that we had not used before. Our 'ALICE' OTS was very well planned and directed, we have improved in skills that include: acting, videoing, editing and planning. The make-up could have been used better in our final OTS to make it scarier and does make it look like a real OTS, the acting in 'ALICE' was more developed and taken seriously however in 'The Killing' the acting was not taken as serious this was not very good for the practice task. The editing had improved a lot and a lot of the group had more input rather than in the practice task where one person took on the role. Our location and props were more beneficial in the final task, we used all different props which were relative to the film as well as a traditional horror.
