Practice zombie bite (AP, RS)
By showing a zombie bite using theatrical Make-Up, we wanted to present the different skills and techniques that we are able to use during our final opening title sequence to make it look as real as possible. During this video we used a range of different products including: Scaring Wax, Black-Eyeshadow, Red face paint and a variety of bloods. I then used a bruise wheel to make the bite look deeper and more painful, by using the yellow paint section of the bruise wheel it would make the bite look slightly infected and gory. I then splattered some thinner blood around the wound as if the Zombie tore the skin away and so it looked like a very deep wound.
Open Hand Wound (AP, RS)
We decided to show some of the others skills we are able to incoperate into our Final Opening Title Sequence. For this look we decided to do an open hand wound. As a group we thought this would be really effective as the final product looked very realistic and showed up well on camera. We thought this make-up look would be good for the March hare in our 'Alice in Wonderland' themed opening title sequence as it shows the flesh almost rotting away with bones sticking out; this would be good for a diseased arm.
Small Cut (aP, rs)
While practicing some makeup we thought it would be useful to show a simple 'Small Cut' as well as using examples of more complicated effects makeup. A small cut would prove effective as we thought it would make a killing scene more realistic if the victim has more than one major injury, By including smaller wounds, redness and bruising it will make the killing more realistic and gory.
Forearm Burn (ap, rs)
Here we wanted to show an example of a burn wound. we wanted to build on our range of makeup skills so we can add more effects to our opening title sequence. By practicing different types of wounds it gave us a wider range of choices on how we wanted to kill our victim. During this video I used products such as Liquid Latex, a Bruise Wheel, Fresh Scratch (scab blood) and liquid blood for a more realistic effect.
